What the air does out here
The Spun Sugar Wagon holds the heart of the midway at Mile 45. The drum hums, spun pink sugar becomes weather, and paper cones go over the counter taller than the kids doing the ordering. This is the sweetest air on the Stretch and also the lightest; the copper pots do the heavy work elsewhere, and the wagon makes the one thing on the midway with no weight to it at all.
Who rides with it
Kids on tiptoe at the window with exact change. Grown-ups who order one for the kid and hold it at eating height. The wagon sells clouds by the cone and has never been accused of false advertising.
Pair it at the next stop
Fruit Loops holds the other front row of being seven back at Mile 19, and this same spun sugar puts on perfume for dusk when Pink Sugar comes around at Mile 51. Cotton Candy is a clear pour, so pink and pastel colorways stay exactly the color you chose.
