What the air does out here
The valley's only beach clears out an hour before the water starts showing off. The pale pink convertible leaves at six, and Miller's Pond takes the long light like it rehearsed, citrus gone soft into fresh-cut flowers, a whisper of spice, a crisp green edge off the trees. Half the chairs face west on purpose. Miles 16 and 26 both promised Pink Sands would pour the sunset version of this same water, and here it is, on schedule.
Who rides with it
Chair-turners who stay past the towels. Couples who came for the swim and stayed for the light. Grandkids sweeping up who have stopped pretending to hurry. The sunset is the only show in the valley with no marquee, no tickets, and a headliner who has never once been late.
Pair it at the next stop
The full beach day is five markers back at Malibu Barbie, Mile 26, and this water first learned to relax at Coconut Lime, Mile 16. The pond keeps the whole day.
